karmavore.com: enlightening films for women

infrequently asked questions

Why are the questions Infrequently Asked?

Hey, it's a small site, and we don't get that much traffic. (Since you asked 3000 unique users a month and growing.)

How do you decide what to review?

Films have to fit with the general idea of the site. We have to like them, they can't insult our intelligence, women can't come off looking like bimbos.

What do the categories mean?

Well, they're arbitrary groupings based on some ways of defining women, and we might get rid of them in a future version, but they're meant to be an interesting way to browse. If you don't like them, let us know.

Can I review something?

We were hoping you'd ask. Obviously this is a hobby site. We don't pay. If you still want to write something (and we publish it), we'll credit you. Send it in.

Note: We do not advocate writing for free. It devalues professional writers. We do it for this site because we love it.

However, if we ever get bought out by Time-Warner/AOL/Disney, we'll remember all the little people who helped us get started.

How often is the site updated?

Approximately quarterly.

Will you ever review "Pretty Woman"?

No.
